I don't drink, but I would love to go the Sherlock Holmes Pub just for the aesthetic. Thank you for sharing these fun pictures of your pub crawl in London!
Gorgeous photos, Michael - and now you've made me want a cider too...
Just as well my husband brews our own - 5 gallons at a time 🤩🥳
Love to see your take on the pubs of York, Newcastle (upon Tyne) and Edinburgh next, and if you make it this far North you have to try Colman's fish and chips. Probably the best you will ever taste...
Oooh, good tip about the fish and chips. And would LOVE to see those pubs. There are a lot of things I like about England, but the pubs might just be the best!
man some of these are wild! Have you tried the cask ale at all??
Related to the comment you left on the TMT...in the first picture of the Old Bank of England pub, on the sign outside it says McMullen at the top - that's one way to see if a pub is a tied house or a free house.
Hi Michael, its Tresa Leftenant from Cornerstone. I met you a couple of times in your meetings with Bill. I tried to buy you a coffee but only the photo came up instead of the link. I'm reading and sharing your newsletter more because I'm about to retire and thinking about my future travels. England might be my first place. I was there 30 years ago. I love the positive fun perspective you bring to travel. Thank you and keep sharing please! I'll keep in touch!
Lovely to hear from you, Tresa! And thanks for the kind words. I see the button when I look, but no worries! Hope to see you in a few weeks when we come in to see Bill.
Wow!! These photos! The Sherlock Holmes pub!! I’m in heaven. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
Best virtual pub crawl I’ve ever been on! And no hangover!
Thanks, Michael!
Love, love, love your writing and pics. I was totally transported
Thank you, Molly!
This is amazing. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! And thanks for coming along!
This was unbelievably cool! I'm really enjoying these new virtual tours
Awesome and thank you!
Love me an English pub--these are fantastic!
Thanks, Charlotte!
I love this Michael!! I lived in London for 12 years and I never visited any of these pubs - at least I have a good reason to go back now!
I'll meet you for a pint!

Love it!
I haven't been to any but they sure looking inviting.
The last one could work well with The Mad Hatter Hitel that also uses Alice as a theme.
Curious though. Do you ever feel out of place trying to take the best shot?
Thanks, Laura. As for feeling out of place, Oh, absolutely! But I no longer care. LOL
Amazing!!!! I may have to take up drinking! 😅
Well, if you’re looking for an excuse!

Mmmm, I'm not really an ale guy, so no, I haven't tried it. Sorry! Thanks for the tip about how to tell if a pub is tied or free. I hadn't known that.
Oh it's not really a bad thing or a good thing (tied houses can be well managed too!) but just an interesting fun (?) fact haha
OMGGGorgeous!
Thanks!

Feel free to pound a beer or ten on my behalf.
Well, if you say so!
