When Brent and I left America to become digital nomads ten years ago, I had no idea that I would discover my passion for photography.
How passionate am I? I currently have 107,890 pictures sitting in my Adobe Lightroom “editing” folder.
And these are just the ones I decided to edit and save!
Now I’ve decided to sell some. You can check out my new storefront here. (Enter SAVE35 at checkout to save 35%!)
Over the years, I’ve received some pretty gratifying feedback on my pictures, had some go viral, and, ahem, even received some requests from people wanting to buy copies.
I always said, “Gosh, that’s very flattering, but I’m not a professional photographer.”
But the requests have continued and finally I decided: Why do I keep insisting they aren’t worth selling?
Are they? I’m about to find out!
I’ve spent far many more time than I expected building a store where I can finally share — and sell — some of my favorite photographs from our travels.
But it’s finally done — Michael Jensen Photography!
On one hand, Ansel Adams has nothing to worry about.
On the other hand, I love wandering the world and taking photos. And, dammit, I think some of them are pretty good!
Besides, what else am I going to do with 107,890 pictures sitting in Lightroom?
I do have individual prints for sale, but my specialty is travel posters that bring some of my favorite images of a destination together in one place.
I want my photographs to do three things:
Add a little beauty to everyday life.
Share something of what I saw during our travels.
And inspire others to have adventures of their own.
Here’s a special discount for subscribers to Brent and Michael Are Going Places:

Thanks again, and bon voyage!

This is really a wonderful thing, Michael! You have such a gift and I'm so glad people can now enjoy your work in their own homes. And what a ton of work to make such a beautiful and easy to use site! Bravo my friend.
Congratulations on your new website. I have always loved your photos. I hope this will be a way for even more people to see the world through your unique photographic eye.
