What Do You Do With 100,000 Photos?

I hope this is the answer!

When Brent and I left America to become digital nomads ten years ago, I had no idea that I would discover my passion for photography.

How passionate am I? I currently have 107,890 pictures sitting in my Adobe Lightroom “editing” folder.

And these are just the ones I decided to edit and save!

Over the years, I’ve received some pretty gratifying feedback on my pictures, had some go viral, and, ahem, even received some requests from people wanting to buy copies.

I always said, “Gosh, that’s very flattering, but I’m not a professional photographer.”

But the requests have continued and finally I decided: Why do I keep insisting they aren’t worth selling?

Are they? I’m about to find out!

I’ve spent far many more time than I expected building a store where I can finally share — and sell — some of my favorite photographs from our travels.

But it’s finally done — Michael Jensen Photography!

On one hand, Ansel Adams has nothing to worry about.

On the other hand, I love wandering the world and taking photos. And, dammit, I think some of them are pretty good!

Besides, what else am I going to do with 107,890 pictures sitting in Lightroom?

I do have individual prints for sale, but my specialty is travel posters that bring some of my favorite images of a destination together in one place.

The cats of Istanbul, Glacier Bay in Alaska, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and Italy’s Cinque Terre.

I want my photographs to do three things:

• Add a little beauty to everyday life.

• Share something of what I saw during our travels.

• And inspire others to have adventures of their own.
